The client’s fondness of the “craftsman style” directed the finished appearance for this residence project. This complete renovation of an older brick “neocolonial” is disguised by the overlay of this new addition to the original house.
The attic was upgraded to provide actual living spaces by inserting clerestory dormers. Sloped and “tray” ceilings are featured in most new rooms and this particular ceiling design was even included in the new Master Suite as well as the Kitchen/Family Room.
An enlarged garage features two specially designed doors which are carried to the small side door opening to a professional’s new basement shop.
